AB 903: School accountability: local control and accountability plans: education technology: best practices: School Technology Empowerment Advisory Committee.
This bill aims to improve school accountability by incorporating education technology into local control and accountability plans. The state department of education must prepare a compilation of best practices to support pupil academic success and accelerate achievement by 2026. A model policy for incorporating these best practices will be developed and updated every two years. The department will also establish a school technology empowerment advisory committee to share best practices and provide guidance to local educational agencies. The advisory committee will include representatives from various groups, including school board members, administrators, teachers, and organizations that support technology in public schools.
