This bill amends existing law to extend the exemption of agricultural vehicles from the basic inspection of terminals program until January 1, 2031. The exemption, which currently excludes these vehicles until January 1, 2026, would remain in place for an additional five years. The bill also deletes a provision that requires a report to be submitted to the governor and legislature about the impact of excluding agricultural vehicles from the program, which was due to be submitted by January 1, 2022.
